Wild Herb Walk
Wild plants are all around us—growing between cracks in the pavement, along quiet forest paths, and in open fields. On the Wild Herb Walk, we take the time to slow down, look closer, smell, taste, and connect with the plants.
We’ll go through their names and learn how to recognize them. I’ll share how they can be used in everyday life—whether in your home apothecary or in the kitchen. I also love sharing herbal knowledge and wisdom gathered from different traditions and cultures.
The Wild Herb Walk is also about experiencing walks in a new way. There’s something special about recognizing plants and then spotting them in both expected and unexpected places—it’s like running into old friends along the way.
In this workshop, we will:
- Learn to identify and name common wild plants and weeds
- Explore their medicinal and edible uses
- Listen to folklore, legends, and traditions about wild herbs
This workshop can take place in the city or the countryside—wherever we are, nature finds a way. Whether you're completely new to wild plants or already have a deep appreciation for them, this walk is for anyone curious about what’s growing around us.
Want to join? Check out upcoming events and reserve your spot, or reach out to book a private session. See you among the herbs!
Wild Workshops
I offer variety of workshops and events for adults and children:
Wild Plants for Wild Kids
Just beyond our doorsteps lies a world of greenery and wonder—waiting to be explored, experienced, and cherished. Together with children, We set out on an interactive treasure hunt, learning to find and recognize the wild plants that grow all around us —if we just take the time to look!
Through play, storytelling, and old legends, we uncover nature’s hidden remedies. What can soothe a nettle sting or a bee sting? Which plant helps with bruises? What keeps mosquitoes away? And what can we use as paint?.. More than anything, it’s about sparking curiosity, because the more we learn about something, the easier it is to appreciate and care for —in this case our nature.

With a background in children's theater and an education in children and youth leadership, I have spent years leading workshops that are based on creativity through play and a child’s natural sense for discovery. My approach is always hands-on, engaging, and is shaped to meet children where they are—encouraging them to explore, imagine, and connect with the world around them.
The Wild plants for Wild Kids is the next step, a new workshop that discovers the wild plants through the sense of play. The workshop is created to help children in a fun and educative way to learn what’s growing right around them. Children get to touch, smell, and observe the plants form up close. We learn their names, characteristics and how to recognize them. We learn about how they once have been important and used in history. Children also get to share their own experiences—what a plant reminds them of, where they might have seen it before— there is room for both imagination and science.
These workshops can be adapted to different themes, seasons, and age groups, making it a meaningful and engaging experience for all. Whether hosted in a schoolyard, a nearby park, or a green space, there is always something to discover—after all, weeds find their way everywhere! We work with what we find, always guided by the season and with deep respect for our nature.
I’m available to host Wild plants for Wild kids workshops for schools, children camps, festivals and other events. The workshops are in English.
