The Herbal Apothecary of Autumn – 5 Week Course
Creations for Body & Being.
Step into the world of herbs and the turning of the season — a five-week journey crafted for autumn, the season of breath, transformation, creativity, and self-care. Each week we will meet new herbs. Learn and discover different ways of working with them, and how to weave their wisdom and benefits into our daily lives.
Through hands-on sessions you will craft teas, oils, tinctures, perfumes, and bath products for rituals — with the opportunity to personalize each creation to suit your own needs and intentions. At the end of every session, you’ll bring home with you not only deepened knowledge, but also your own crafted herbal products, carrying the gifts of the herbs with you into the months ahead. We will be working with high-quality cultivated plants and oils, as well as carefully wild-harvested herbs, to bring both potency and a deeper connection to nature into your creations.
The course is held as a closed group, allowing us to grow together as a small, supportive herbal community over the five weeks. It is a space for care, creativity, and nourishment — an invitation to align with the rhythms of the season, deepen your relationship with plants, and discover herbs as daily allies for well-being, inspiration, and self-care.

What to Expect Each Week

Week 1
Elixirs of the Earth – Tincture Making Tuesday, 30.9.2025 - 18:15 to 20:45
Dive into the world of herbal tinctures and discover how to create potent elixirs with alcohol or glycerin. Together we will go through and learn about herbs that support immunity, digestion, and emotional resilience, exploring their properties and how they can work for and with us. You will learn which herbs are best suited for tinctures, the benefits of working with them in this concentrated form, and how to use them in daily life.
Each participant will craft their own personalized tinctures, taking home a unique preparation designed to support their individual needs and intentions, and connect with the wisdom and rhythms of the season.

Week 2
Infusions for Body & Being – Tea Blends Tuesday, 7.10.2025 - 18:15 to 20:45
Step into the world of herbal tea blending. Learn and discover how plants can bring comfort, strength, and balance. We will meet a variety of high-quality herbs — many of them carefully hand-harvested from wild meadows — and explore how their properties can support us in body, mind, and spirit. This is a chance to add to, or deepen, your knowledge of herbs while working with them directly. Each participant will be guided in creating a blend uniquely tailored to their own needs, a nourishing infusion to carry home and enjoy throughout the autumn months.

Week 3
Botanical Oils of Nourishment – Oil Blends Tuesday, 14.10.2025 - 18:15 to 20:45
We will explore different oils and learn how to infuse them with herbs to restore, protect, and nourish. Together we will go through and learn about herbs that support the health of your hair, care for and protect your skin, and can be used in massage to soothe or relax sore muscles. We will learn about different kinds of oils and how to combine them with herbs for personalized herbal infusions.
Each participant will craft a personalized oil — choosing between a face oil, massage oil, or hair oil — tailored to their own preferences and needs. We will work with high-quality herbs, oils, and packaging, creating products you can enjoy and use in your daily self-care rituals.

Week 4
Scents of the Spirit – Perfume Blends Tuesday, 21.10.2025 - 18:15 to 20:45
In this session, we will learn the techniques of composing unique perfumes, discovering how to combine different essences to create harmonious blends. Scents have the power to connect us to moments, support us through life’s situations, and highlight our intentions. Together we will explore how to use essential oils to craft perfumes that can aid in stress relief, focus, meditation, or simply capture the flow and atmosphere of autumn.
Each participant will set their own intentions and blend a personalized perfume to take home — a fragrant companion designed to support and reflect your inner state, while celebrating the rhythm and energy of the season.

Week 5
Sacred Bath Rituals – Herbal Baths & Steams Tuesday, 4.11.2025 - 18:15 to 20:45
Close the course with a ritual of renewal, exploring how herbs, salts, and autumn’s bounty can support the body and mind. Together we will go through and learn about herbs that encourage circulation, energy flow, grounding, and deep rest, as well as the health benefits that baths and herbal steams can bring. We will also explore different methods and traditions, discovering how cultures around the world have used herbs to nurture and heal themselves.
